| Since the US and Europe adopts the low interest rate policy, hot money has been flowing to the Asia Pacific Region. Most of the Asia Countries like China has been restricting the inflow of hot money such as rejecting deposits from countries other than china. On the other hand, Hong Kong lowered the mortgage lending from 70 to 60 percent. And since the HKD is strong compare to USD. The HKMA has been persistently releasing HKD from the reserve. Therefore, the banking system tends to create lending. This may quickly boost the stock and the housing market. It is believed the government will strictly control the potential inflation in the coming future.
Along with the increase in the living standards of citizens in China, they live longer and therefore more high quality medical services are demanded, medical stocks are generally regarded as high growth stocks in the coming 10 years. Besides, stocks benefited from the policies of China such as policies stimulating the domestic demand and policies subsidising the agricultural industries are stocks with potential growth. Due to the rapid development of China, RMB is considered as a currency tends to greatly appreciate in the furture, assests and stocks like housing and banks may benefit from the rising of RMB. | | |
| I trusted that human are born to serve others and improve the social living standards. However, we need to start from inside to outsides (independent to interdependent). For example, we should be able to meet committment to ourselves before we make promises to others. Therefore, setting achievable and identifliable goals is a way to enhance our growth. I'm pleased that I achieved good results for my Common Recruitment Exam. The pleasure genearated from the achievement serves a motivation for me to make further improvements. | | |
| Australia is believed as the 1st country of the Asia Pacific region recovered from the financial turnmoil, persistently rise in the Aussie dollar and increase in the interest rate are strong evidences. Environment is an important factor in enhancing personal development. Since I'm the citizen of Australia and I like the living environment of Australia. Should I move back to work in Aus based on my advantages, interest and the recovering economy? I believe now in HK, its still hard to find a good career with good prospect. The unemployed population is around 200,000 in hk. Everytime good posts are offered by the government, even experienced and well qualified ppl are competing for a F5 requirment job. More and more graduates are lowering their expected salary for getting a job. I'm a university graduate of the university of NSW. Unluckily, in the eyes of most accounting firms in HK, graduates from Australia are regarded as 2nd or 3rd prioriy in the candidate selection process while graduates from hk university are their 1st priority in selection. Personally, this weaken my competitiveness in the accounting industry. What are the solutions? I believe 'sharpening the saw' is a good way to tackle the problem. If you find that you getting harder in cutting a tree. Why dont you stop cutting and sharpen the saw? This will increase your efficiency in cutting the tree. This principle reminds us that we should always revise our values and approaches in reaching our goals instead of blindly working hard in the wrong way. | | |
| Time passed like a rocket...remember when I was a F5 student, I was worrying about the result of HKCEE. In the past, don't know why I regarded HKCEE as a determinant of my furture. If I failed, I have no hope for the future... I was so stupid. This case certified that HK educational system imposes a bad impact to the students that 'Exam is everything', besides exam, no students care about a balanced personal development. And based on my knowledge, syllabus of most of the subjects is designed to suits the exam that some important parts are cancelled. How can we understand the subjects comprehensively if some vital components are missing!! This is ridiculas!! Luckily, the educational system has started to improve that common social knowledges is introduced as a compulsory course. This is a good news since I agreed with S.Covey that wide and deep knowledges is essential as part of our personal development. Also, 4 years of University study is preferred since more resources are allocated to university as teaching material for better students development. Longer University life means students have more time to develop their communication skills, research skills and analytical skills. This ensures students are well equipped with knowleges to prepare themselves working in the society. | | |
| hard to describe my feelings presently...I just feel lonely. I used to chat with friends via msn. Sometimes its more comfortable to chat via sending msg than speaking directly. I dont hv much social life since I 've started taking anti-depression pills since I need to avoid alcohol, party, noisy and late life. I need to prevent my mood from fluctuating greatly. I hope my friend can understand why I often reject them from joining parties at night.
